Before the world ever had an opinion about you,
God already spoke.
Before anyone placed a label on you,
He called you chosen.
You are strong not because you always feel strong, but because He holds you up when you’re tired.
You are worthy not because you proved yourself, but because He created you on purpose.
You are seen. Hagar once said, “You are the God who sees me” (Book of Genesis 16:13). And that same God sees you right now, exactly where you are.
You are heard every prayer you whispered. Every tear you wiped away quickly so no one would notice.
You are valued God carries you, even on the days you feel like you can’t carry yourself.
You are gifted designed intentionally.
You are priceless because “you are fearfully and wonderfully made” Book of Psalms 139:14) isn’t just a verse… it’s truth over your life.
You are not a mistake.
You are not a burden.
You are not something that needs to be fixed.
You are a miracle shaped by the hands of a loving Father.
You are not the black sheep.
You are gold — and sometimes gold has to go through fire before it shines.
Your kindness? That’s Him softening your heart.
Your patience? That’s Him stretching you gently.
Your passion? That’s purpose stirring inside you.
You are courageous — not because you never feel afraid, but because you keep trusting Him anyway.
And yes, you are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Epistle to the Romans 8:37). Even on the days you feel like you’re barely surviving.
To the Parents Walking This Sacred Road
To the mothers and fathers raising children who walk a different path…
I want to speak gently to you.
God sees you.
He sees the nights when you cry quietly so your child doesn’t hear.
He sees the appointments, the research, the exhaustion.
He hears the question you’re sometimes afraid to say out loud:
“Lord… what does the future look like for my baby?”
Let this settle into your heart:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord… “plans to give you hope and a future” (Book of Jeremiah 29:11).
Your child is not a surprise to God.
Their diagnosis didn’t shock Heaven.
Their uniqueness didn’t slip past Him.
He formed them. Intentionally.
Just because your child learns differently does not mean they won’t flourish.
Just because progress looks slower does not mean purpose is absent.
Different does not mean defeated.
Delayed does not mean denied.
And where you feel weak, please remember:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness” Second Epistle to the Corinthians 12:9.
On the days you feel like you’re failing that may be the very place His strength is holding everything together.
From My Heart
I know what it feels like to be different.
To feel like the black sheep.
To wonder why your story doesn’t look like everyone else’s.
I’ve asked God, “Why me?” before.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something simple and powerful:
God doesn’t create accidents.
Sometimes the very thing that makes you feel out of place is the thing that sets you apart.
The areas I once felt insecure about became the places where God showed up the most.
Gold doesn’t start shiny.
It becomes that way through pressure and heat.
The Power of Your Words
Parents… your voice matters more than you realize.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” Book of Proverbs 18:21.
What you say over your child becomes the voice they hear inside themselves.
When you say, “You can do this,” they begin to believe it.
When you say, “God has a purpose for you,” it anchors them.
When you remind them they are loved — you are building their foundation.
You were not randomly given this child.
God trusted you with them.
That alone says something about your strength.
The Promise Over Your Child
There is purpose over your child’s life that no diagnosis can cancel.
There is calling that no delay can erase.
There is destiny that no label can destroy.
As the years unfold, they will grow.
They will thrive.
They will achieve maybe differently, maybe uniquely but beautifully.
And when you feel like you cannot carry it anymore, hold onto this:
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Book of Exodus 14:14.
You are not alone in this.
God is not distant.
He is present.
He is carrying you while you carry your child.
Your child’s story is not ending in struggle.
It is still being written by faithful hands.
You are not raising a burden.
You are raising a testimony.
